  • Cyril Rivat, MD, PhD

    PhD in Neuroscience and Pharmacology in 2003 at the University of Bordeaux. He was a postdoctoral fellow (2004-2006) at the University of Arizona, (Tucson, AZ, USA), directed by Prof. Philip Malan and Frank Porreca. He returned to France as a postdoctoral fellow (2006-2010) in the laboratory INSERM U975 in Paris directed by J.J. Benoliel.

    He is currently an Associate Professor at Montpellier University (UM) and the leader of the group “Physiopathology: injury-induced plasticity” in the team Sensation at INM (INSERM 1298).

  • Arnaud Dupeyron, MD, PhD

    Arnaud Dupeyron is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Professor at the Medical University in Montpellier, France. He is the Head of the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Carémeau University Hospital, Nîmes, France.

    His professional interests are in musculoskeletal and spinal disorders, rehabilitation techniques and programs, and the link between pain and movement during chronic diseases and daily life.

  • Tolga Ergönenç, MD

    Anesthesiologist working on ultrasound-guided interventions and musculoskeletal sonography. Ergonenc joined Sakarya University Education and Research Hospital in 2006 and he is currently head of the Akyazı Pain and Traditional and Complementary Medicine Unit.

    He has adopted the multimodal approach to pain management, which includes pharmacotherapy, therapeutic, and diagnostic interventions, and requires close cooperation with physiatrists, psychiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, and neurosurgeons.

  • Gustavo Reque, MD

    Dr Gustavo Reque Rydberg (Spain) has over two decades of experience in MSK/Sports and Pain Medicine. He holds qualifications in General Practice, Osteopathic Medicine, Pain Medicine, Sports Medicine and MSK ultrasound diagnostics/interventions. He holds a special interest in combining treatment modalities such as manual-osteopathic medicine treatments along with minimally invasive procedures such as image-guided injections with Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), steroids, high-volume injections, prolotherapy and hydro dissection techniques.

  • Denis Dupoiron

    Head of Department: Anesthesiology and Pain Department at ICO – Angers.

    After the Degree of Doctor of Medicine (1981) and Anesthesiologist (1983) at Angers University, a complementary degree in oncology (2004) and Pain medicine (2006) was obtained in Paris.

    Experience in Interventional therapies for cancer pain especially Intrathecal Drug Delivery Systems (IDDS), and Development of specialised software for Intrathecal mixture prescription.
